To commemorate this, we asked Mr. Izumi of HMKL to release the “K-0 Popper” in an original color.
The K-0 Popper is an attractive lure in every respect, with its splash performance, popping sound, size, and the history behind its creation. The lure also uses the popper design that has been used in Naughty Bait's embroidered items.
The 'N' Red Head is painted pearl white from the back to the bay. It has a built-in natural shell plate that creates a flashing effect to lure bass even when paused.

★K-0 Popper History★
Zell Rowland is a bass fishing legend who competed in American tournaments in the mid-1980s. At the same time, HMKL CEO Izumi moved from Japan to the US and competed in tournaments.
The meeting between these two men resulted in the K-0 Popper. The most important element that Roland wanted in a popper was splash, and his ideal was a front splash that would send many water droplets flying forward. For this reason, he modified all of his poppers, and the POP-R Izumi version was born in response to a request for tuning to further improve performance.
This Izumi version was once a secret lure among top pros. The K-0 Popper is a mass-produced version that inherits the performance of this historic popper.
The K-0 Popper has a deep cup and sharp edge mouth shape, and by keeping it in a horizontal position when stationary, it can easily produce a front splash that rises high forward and a popping sound with no time lag.
